Grains lower, Livestock mixed
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Sep. lost 10 cents at $7.7950 a bushel; Sep. corn fell 4 cents at $5.9525 a bushel; Sep. oats dropped 17 cents at $4.2925 a bushel; while Aug. soybeans was off 2.50 cents at 15.80 a bushel.
Beef was mixed and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Aug. live cattle was up .12 cent at $1.3662 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle was off .27 cent at $1.7645 a pound; Aug. lean hogs rose .40 cent at $1.2017 a pound.
