Motorcycle passenger, 23, dies after Waukegan accident

A 23-year-old female motorcycle passenger died after an accident in Waukegan that involved a car early Saturday morning, police said.

The crash took place at 2 a.m. at McAlister Street and Helmholtz Avenue, police said in a release.

The woman died as a result of injuries from the crash. It remains under investigation. Police say they'll update information about the crash as the investigation continues.
