Caudle paces Vernon Hills' victory

Vernon Hills 66, Highland Park 32: Kayla Caudle scored 15 points, as the visiting Cougars won the Central Suburban North Division game.

Katie Burrows added 14 for Vernon Hills (11-10), which led 18-6 after one quarter and 35-13 at halftime.

"Our defense led the way," Cougars coach Paul Brettner said. "We did a nice job defensively and that helped get us going offensively."
