Kane County offers free COVID-19 saliva testing

The Kane County Health Department is offering free COVID-19 saliva testing at the Kane Vax Hub.

The noninvasive tests are provided in cooperation with SHIELD Illinois and will provide confidential results in 24-48 hours.

The tests will be offered at the Kane Vax Hub at 501 N. Randall Road in Batavia from 9 a.m. to noon Mondays and Fridays and from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays.

Walk-ins are welcome, but registration is encouraged. To register, visit shieldilportal.pointnclick.com.

Do not eat or drink anything one hour before your test.
