Naperville electric utility recognized

The city of Naperville's electric utility has received a Reliable Public Power Provider Platinum designation from the American Public Power Association.

The recognition awards utilities that show proficiency in reliability, safety, workforce development and system improvement. Naperville's electric utility is one of 114 across the nation that received the Reliable Public Power Provider Platinum designation this year. The status lasts until April 30, 2023.

Naperville's electric utility has more than 100 employees and serves more than 60,000 residential and commercial customers.
