Running down the truth in Trump campaign
Trump and Cruz both lie big-time. Trump called Cruz the biggest campaign liar. I believe Trump beats him hands down.
Here's Trump on issues: I'll make Mexico pay for the fence; only Congress has binding treaty power. Exclude Syrian Muslims; the Constitution prohibits religious discrimination.
Mexican immigrants are rapists and violent criminals; yes, so are natural citizens. Mexico is promoting illegal immigration; offers no evidence.
Mid-east countries will pay for our military there, and we should steal their oil; ridiculous, considering they would collapse without our help.
Obama is open to 250,000 Syrian refugees; Obama proposed 10,000.
Suggests we kill families of terrorists; US should engage in murder?
Would resume waterboarding; it's an international crime we have previously prosecuted.
Our military is a disaster; big lie.
His campaign is self-funded; it accepted huge contributions.
We need higher taxes on the wealthy; his plan cuts top rates 37 percent and the estate tax to ZERO.
Claims he objected to the Iraq War; yes, well after it started.
He saw video of Muslims connected with 9/11 attackers cheering the attack; no such video exists.
We spent $5 trillion in Middle East; he didn't try to build a casino in Florida; he didn't try to take a widow's property in New Jersey for casino parking; all false.
Bankruptcy is intended to resolve incidental or careless failures, and to sort out rights of victims. They always leave trusting people holding the bag, and losses radiate out to hurt us all. They should be rare. Trump has declared four huge business bankruptcies. He has flip-flopped, and has disparaged his opponents, a handicapped reporter, women, Mexicans, Syrians, his critics, and John McCain.
In my opinion, he is a sociopath and mythomaniac.
We need more prominent fact-checking from the parties and media.
