Lombard blood drives on Sept. 8

Versiti Blood Centers will host Lombard blood drives at two locations on Wednesday, Sept. 8.

A mobile coach for blood draws will be parked from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Yorktown Center at 145 Yorktown Shopping Center near the Von Maur entrance.

Then from 1:30 to 7 p.m., the blood drive moves to First Church of Lombard, 220 S. Main St.

Potential donors are advised to eat a healthy meal and to drink plenty of water before donating. Advance appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome.
