Downers Grove redevelopment deal approved

The Downers Grove Village Council recently approved the rezoning and redevelopment agreement for 1111 Ogden Ave. A four-unit multiuse complex with a drive-through is to be built, and it is to be anchored by a Noodles & Company restaurant.

The village council also approved a zoning expansion that allows food trucks to operate in Downers Grove. The expansion area encompasses Rogers Street north of the railway tracks, west of Douglas Road and east of Prospect Avenue, and will allow the Goldfinger Brewing Company in Downers Grove to expand its outdoor menu dining options.
