Naperville firefighters probing cause of house fire

Naperville firefighters are probing the cause of a Saturday night fire that damaged a house on the 2100 block of Jessica Court.

No injuries were reported, but authorities deemed the house uninhabitable.

Authorities said the fire was reported at 9 p.m. by Naperville police and a neighbor who called 911. The first crews arrived within four minutes and found heavy black smoke and fire coming from the side of the house. One resident was evacuated.

Firefighters performed salvage and overhaul operations both inside and outside the house, along with smoke removal.
