Police search for teen missing from Aurora

The Aurora Police Department is asking for the public's help finding a missing teenager.

Guadalupe Brenes, 16, was last seen February 11 in a black jacket, blue pajama pants and carrying a white backpack, police said.

She spoke to her family on the phone after leaving, but has since turned the phone off. Brenes also took various personal items with her.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Aurora Police Department Investigations Division (630) 256-5500 or call 911.
