COD to debut Visiting Artist Series

The College of DuPage Fine Arts program, in partnership with the Cleve Carney Art Gallery, is debuting its Visiting Artist Series this spring. Intended to enrich curriculum and enhance student experiences, the series will bring artists, designers and curators to McAninch Arts Center on the college's main campus, 425 Fawell Blvd., Glen Ellyn.

All lectures are free and open to the public:

• Thursday, March 10: Artist, educator, publisher and writer Steven Husby from 11 a.m. to noon in the McAninch Arts Center, Room 153.

• Wednesday, March 30: Director and curator of the Department of Exhibitions, Performance and Student Spaces at Columbia College Neysa Page-Lieberman from 11 a.m. to noon in the McAninch Arts Center, Room 205.

• Wednesday, April 20: Artist, educator, curator, writer and publisher Brandon Alvendia from 11 a.m. to noon in the McAninch Arts Center, Room 153.
