Walgreens to offer discount to veterans

DEERFIELD - To commemorate veterans and Veterans Day, Walgreens said Monday it will offer a 20%, five-day, in-store discount to all veterans and active duty military personnel as well as their family members.

On Wednesday, Nov. 11, through Sunday, Nov. 15, veterans, military and their families will receive 20% off regular price eligible store items at any Walgreens drugstore nationwide, the company said.

The discount will not be valid on alcohol, dairy, tobacco, stamps, gift cards, newspapers, magazines, money orders/transfers, lottery tickets, pseudoephedrine or ephedrine products, prescriptions, pharmacy items or services, sales tax or other selected products and services, the company said.

Eligibal discounts require a Balance Rewards card or myWalgreens account and proof of service.
