Hoffman Estates Fire Department hosting three open house events

The Hoffman Estates Fire Department is hosting three open houses this month to give residents a chance to see what it's like to work and live as a village firefighter/paramedic.

The whole family is invited to visit the stations to see and touch trucks and equipment, participate in fun activities and learn about fire safety.

The open houses will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the following locations and dates: Saturday, Oct. 9, Firehouse 23, 1300 Westbury Drive; Saturday, Oct. 16, Firehouse 24, 5775 Beacon Pointe Drive; and Saturday, Oct. 23, Firehouse 21, 225 Flagstaff Lane.
