Waukegan man drowns in harbor

A Waukegan man drowned Sunday night in Waukegan Harbor, according to a Lake County coroner's office news release.

Around midnight, first responders arrived on the scene near 199 South Harbor Place. Divers were able to locate 35-year-old Waukegan resident Ivory Biggs, and he was taken to Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan, where he was later pronounced dead.

An investigation by the Waukegan police into Biggs' death is ongoing.
