5K to benefit 100 Club set for May 5 in Lake County

The deadline to register for the Five-O 5K race to benefit the 100 Club of Chicago is Friday, April 19.

The race will be held Sunday, May 5, at Independence Grove Forest Preserve, 16400 Buckley Road (Route 137). Adult entry is $35, and $20 for those six to 17. All proceeds will benefit The 100 Club of Lake, McHenry, and Cook Counties, which provides for the families of first responders who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

All race participants will receive a shirt and finish line goodies. Runners and walkers of all ages welcome. Wheels or pets are not permitted.
