Body found in northern IN burn pile ID'ed as Logansport man

BURNETTSVILLE, Ind. (AP) - Indiana State Police have identified a man whose body was found on a burn pile in northern Indiana.

They say White County sheriff's deputies found the body of 65-year-old Virgil L. Watts of Logansport on Monday night behind a rural home near the town of Burnettsville, about 70 miles northwest of Indianapolis.

Police said Wednesday that the results of the autopsy showed no signs of foul play.
