Palatine chamber golf outing set for Aug. 16

The Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Golf Outing on Friday, Aug. 16, at Palatine Hills Golf Course, 512 W. Northwest Highway in Palatine.

The golf scramble event is for players of all skill levels and includes 18 holes of golf with plenty of ways to earn cash and prizes on the course. Breakfast, lunch, soft drinks and adult beverages are included with registration.

Once the golfing is over, an after party and awards ceremony will be held at Durty Nellie's, and includes heavy hors d'oeuvres, one complimentary drink and a cash bar, along with raffles.

"We invite all area residents and business community members to enjoy a day on the course; businesses can take advantage of high exposure sponsorships to get them noticed," said Alan Locke of Locke Financial Services, the golf outing chair. "We're especially excited about our new games on the course that will give golfers many opportunities to win cash and prizes."

The PACC is offering an early bird golfer discount through July 15 at a cost of $165/single and $600/foursome. Beginning July 16, the price will increase to $185/single and $700/foursome.

For those who don't choose to golf, individuals can also get involved by volunteering at the event, donating a raffle prize, or becoming a sponsor. Sponsorships begin at $150 and provide unique opportunities for participants to learn more about business sponsors.
