Westminster Christian wins in overtime

Westminster Christian's girls basketball team moved to 2-0 on the season Wednesday night with a 37-33 overtime win over Mooseheart at the Elgin Academy tournament.

Emily Lamp had 14 points and 5 rebounds for the Warriors while Elise VanNoord added 16 points and 4 rebounds.

Rolling Meadows 49, Cary-Grove 35: Vanessa Morris led Cary-Grove (0-1) with 11 points in this loss at the Lake Zurich tournament.
