St. Edward routs Guerin

Kelvin Cortez-Harvey scored 30 points Tuesday night to lead the St. Edward boys basketball team to a 73-34 win over Guerin in a Metro Suburban Red game in Elgin.

Rockford Christian Life 71, Westminster Christian 68: Ben Versluys had 18 points and Elliott Brandon added 16 but Westminster was upset and knocked out of a first place tie in the Northeastern Athletic Conference with this loss. Scotty Graziano added 12 points for the Warriors (16-6, 8-1).

CL Central 60, Hampshire 46: Tre Powell scored 13 points and JD Shaw added 11 for Hampshire (6-18, 3-9) in this Fox Valley Conference game.

Hoffman Estates 48, Streamwood 43: Brendon Marton had 15 points for Streamwood (7-20) in this nonconference loss.
