'Magic Rickshaw' is India Night presentation at Glenbard North
Glenbard North High School presents India Night Friday and Saturday at the school, 990 Kuhn Road, Carol Stream.
India Night, which opened Thursday for students and staff members, celebrates its 10th anniversary this weekend. The three-hour show is called "The Magic Rickshaw" and showcases the diversity of India through dance, song, fashion and acting. The shows are at 7 p.m. both days.
"It's so important for the kids to have this opportunity to express the beautiful diversity of their culture in a cross cultural context," said Kevin Erday, director of the show the last nine years.
