2 dead, 4 injured in separate Chicago weekend shootings

CHICAGO (AP) - Police in Chicago say officers responding to a shooting report found two men dead in vehicle in the Old Town neighborhood on the city's North Side.

Authorities say a driver and a passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene at about 6 a.m. Sunday and the vehicle had a half-dozen bullet holes in it. Police say the dead included a 22-year-old man and 25-year-old man who were both shot several times. Police are investigating.

Separately, police say four people were injured when someone opened fire while they were standing in a parking lot on Chicago's West Side.

Police say at least one shooter opened fire at about 9:50 p.m. Saturday. Police say an 18-year-old man was in critical condition. Authorities say three others were shot and taken to hospitals where their conditions were stabilized. No arrests have been made.
