Rosemont village hall gets exterior upgrades

Rosemont is paying $289,000 to fix broken concrete, paint and make other exterior repairs to its village hall building.

Crews from Ascher Brothers are making the upgrades to the eight-story office building at 9501 W. Devon Ave., which houses village offices, the public safety department, as well as Gino's East pizzeria and other businesses.

Some offices began getting water infiltration through the ceiling, precipitating the improvement project.
