West Dundee names winners of best haunts for 2021

The West Dundee Halloween Party Committee recently announced the winners of the annual Halloween Decorating Contest, with the community voting for the best three haunts for 2021.

This year the contest featured 12 homes from around West Dundee, with everything from skeletons, to witches, ghouls, and zombies, ghosts, and a house that just might eat you!

The committee tallied the votes and announced the winners.

The first-place haunt was MolDIE Manor at 2706 Oak Drive. Second place went to the Monster House at 116 N. Fifth St.

In third place was the Whimsical Halloween at 212 S. Second St.

All three haunts received prizes and a congratulatory yard sign.

The West Dundee Halloween Party Committee would like to thank all the haunts that participated this year, as well as the sponsors - Bleuroot Restaurant, Wildfire Pizza, and Chubby Bullfrog - for their generous donations. Without this support, the contest would have not been possible.
