Firefighters were called to the 800 block of Rockbridge Drive around 10:30 p.m. for a report of a fire in an attached garage, authorities said.

The first crews on the scene discovered the fire had spread into the second floor of the house, authorities said.

No one was home at the time of the fire.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation; authorities have deemed the residence uninhabitable.
