Burlington Central, St. Edward post wins

Kathryn Schmidt scored 15 points and had 6 rebounds Wednesday night to lead the Burlington Central girls basketball team to a 53-31 Kishwaukee River Conference win at Woodstock.

Zoey Kollhoff added 10 points and 6 rebounds for the Rockets (7-0, 2-0).

St. Edward 62, Chicago Christian 30: Mallory Rejman had 14 points while Yssa Sto. Domingo added 10 points and 5 steals as the Green Wave (5-3, 4-0) won in the Metro Suburban Red. Mariel Franco added 6 points and 5 steals to the victory.
