Week 4 recap: Barrington picks up first win; Elgin beats Bartlett for first time since 2001

Barrington 28, Evanston 14: The Broncos (1-3) won their first game of the year. Dillon Fitzpatrick had 4 touchdowns, running for a pair, catching a pass from Payton Soske and returning a kickoff 99 yards.
Hoffman Estates 72, Maine East 7: Hoffman (2-2) ran away with this one as the Hawks scored 9 rushing touchdowns and rushed for 375 yards. Quincy Williams had 3 scores, Dimarte Neustader had 2 touchdowns while rushing for 158 yards. Sean Holcomb and Aiden Coleman each scored 2 touchdowns. Maine East fell to 1-3.
Morton 30, Leyden 29: Leyden (0-2, 0-4) lost in overtime to Morton. Diego Mendoza rushed for 176 yards and 3 touchdowns for the Eagles.
New Trier 35, Fremd 7: Brennan Saxe (5 receptions, 129 yards) had the lone score for Fremd (0-4). He caught a 68-yard touchdown pass from Caiden Suchy (10-of-28, 181 yards).
Schaumburg 49, Niles North 7: Anthony DiGioia rushed for a touchdown and the Saxons (2-2) had a pair of defensive scores as Schaumburg rolled.

Addison Trail 23, Proviso East 20: Addison Trail (2-2, 1-1) broke a two-game losing streak to pick up the home victory.
Glenbard East 42, East Aurora 0: The Rams (3-1, 3-1) built a 21-0 halftime lead and went on to pitch their second shutout of the season.
Glenbard West 51, Proviso West 12: The Hilltoppers (4-0, 2-0) roared to an easy win in Hillside. Julius Ellens had a 4-yard touchdown run and a 62-yard touchdown catch from Korey Tai. Connor McLaughlin and Will Meyer each had touchdown runs.
Hinsdale Central 16, Hinsdale South 7: The Red Devils (2-2) won the battle of Hinsdale thanks to a pair of turnovers. Hinsdale South is now 1-3.
IC Catholic 55, Ridgewood 7: The Knights (3-1, 2-0) built a 41-7 lead after one quarter and sailed to the win. Denzell Gibson had a touchdown run, Kaleb Ellis had an interception return for a touchdown and KJ Parker had a touchdown catch and scored on a punt return. Joey Gliatta also had a touchdown.
Fenton 27, West Chicago 26: Fenton (1-3, 1-3) won by a point in a battle of winless teams. Vincent Muci had 3 touchdown runs for West Chicago (0-4, 0-4) and Johnny Montana scored the fourth.
Lisle 35, Streator 28: Lisle (2-2, 1-2) led 27-6 headed into the fourth quarter and hung on for the win. Dominic Nigro, Dean Tchakanakis, Tyler Anderson and Casey Rosenberg each had touchdown runs while Anderson threw a touchdown pass to Rosenberg.
St. Francis 56, Chicago Christian 0: Alessio Milivojevic threw 3 touchdown passes and ran for another for the Spartans (4-0, 2-0). Milivojevic threw a pair of touchdown passes to Dash Dorsey, and another to Liam Kolinski. Ian Willis and Amari head had a rushing touchdowns and TK McMillen scored on a fumble return. Jack Reilly also threw a touchdown pass.
St. Rita 41, Benet 12: Benet (1-3, 0-1) led 6-3 early but couldn't hang on as the Redwings dropped their second consecutive game
St. Laurence 20, Montini 14: Cole Teschner, who was 22-of-30 for 287 yards, fired a pair of touchdowns in the loss for Montini (2-2, 0-1).
Wheaton Academy 47, McNamara 0: Wheaton Academy (4-0, 2-0) delivered their third consecutive shutout. Belay Brummel, who was 13-of-16 for 279 yards, fired 6 touchdown passes to lead the Warriors. Breck Peacock and Jalen Whitaker each had 2 touchdown receptions, while James Fellowes and Brett Kasper each had one. Emery Eckert also scored a rushing touchdown for Wheaton.

Aurora Central Catholic 26, Elmwood Park 12: The Chargers (1-3, 1-1) forced 5 turnovers, including a pair in the red zone to pick up their first win of the season. Kevin Stanislo also threw a long touchdown pass as ACC head coach Christian Rago earned his first career win.
Elgin 24, Bartlett 7: Elgin (2-2, 2-2) had not beaten Bartlett (3-1, 3-1) since 2001. The Marrons had lost to the Hawks 14 consecutive times. The teams did not play some years when the Upstate 8 was broken into two divisions.
St. Edward 37, Christ the King 0: The Green Wave (1-3) picked up the first win of the season, downing the Gladiators.
St. Ignatius 35, Marmion Academy 0: Marmion (2-2, 0-1) moved the ball, but couldn't find the end zone in their loss to the Wolves (3-1, 1-0).
Lake County
Antioch 47, North Chicago 0: Antioch (2-2, 2-0) forced 6 turnovers and held North Chicago (0-4, 0-2) to just 32 yards. Quad Moll threw 2 touchdown passes and ran for another.
Lakes 55, Round Lake 0: Amir Al hindi (14 carries, 157 yards) and Max Bausch each ran for 3 touchdowns, while Cade Primack and Elijah Reid both scored as the Eagles (2-2, 1-1) blanked Round Lake (0-4, 0-2).
Lake Zurich 42, Zion-Benton 0: The Bears defense had an interception return for a touchdown and a safety while forcing 4 turnovers in the shutout. Justin Koppe had 2 touchdown passes for Lake Zurich (3-1, 2-0).
Libertyville 22, Lake Forest 7: Quinn Schambow threw a 92-yard touchdown pass to Luka Nikolich and a 9-yard touchdown pass to Scott Criel as the Wildcats (2-2, 1-1) scored all the points they needed in the first quarter.
Mundelein 43, Waukegan 12: Mundelein (3-1, 2-0) bolted to a 29-0 lead and cruised for the win.
