New shoe store in downtown Barrington

A new shoe store has opened in downtown Barrington. Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce representatives, Village President Karen Darch and other officials recently gathered to mark the debut of Tootsies Women's & Children's Shoes, 150 S. Cook St. "We are now open at our new location on Cook Street and will continue to offer the same personalized service that only a local shop can provide," said owner Douglas Pekarek. "Our knowledgeable shoe-fitting team specializes in 'fashion comfortable' footwear and premium brands."
