Bartlett, Geneva, South Elgin all post wins

Kayla Hare scored 14 points and Lexie Sinclair added 16 Thursday night to lead the Bartlett girls basketball team to a 52-44 Upstate Eight Valley win over West Chicago.

Savannah Standefer added 7 points for the Hawks (5-2, 1-0), who won their fourth straight.

Geneva 61, Larkin 20: Stephanie Hart had 17 points and Lindsay Blackmore 13 as Geneva (7-0, 2-0), the No. 1 ranked team in Class 4A, won easily in the UEC River. Haley Bohne led Larkin (1-6, 1-1) with 5 points.

South Elgin 46, Glenbard East 21: Casey Brennan's 10 points led South Elgin (2-3, 1-0) to this UEC Valley win. Megan McClure added 9 points for the Storm.
