Woman arrested after theft at Rivers Casino
A Milwaukee woman accused of stealing money from a patron at Rivers Casino in Des Plaines was arrested early Sunday after driving away from the venue while intoxicated, police said.
Kirlilah Calhoun, 43, is charged with theft, driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and improper lane usage, police said. She also was wanted on a warrant by police in Broward County, Florida, according to a news release.
Police had been called to the casino about 3 a.m. because of a dispute between two patrons. Calhoun left before police arrived and before she could be detained by Rivers security personnel, according to the news release.
Police stopped her speeding Range Rover on the 800 block of South Des Plaines River Road, authorities said.
