Harvest Christian handles Westminster Christian

Alyssa Iverson scored 22 points Wednesday night to lead the Harvest Christian girls basketball team to a 67-32 win over Westminster Christian in the first round of the Elgin City Classic.

Gracie Ozburn added 8 points for the Lions (16-3).

Keely Frens had 9 points to lead the Warriors (5-8), who were playing for the first time since Dec. 21.

Glenbard West 62, St. Charles North 47: Anna Davern led SCN with 20 points in this nonconference loss. Leilauni Chanthaboury added 15 points for the North Stars (11-8), all on 3-pointers, and Annie Tate had 12 points.

Hoffman Estates 43, Streamwood 41: Mandy Mien had 14 points and Andrea Bracy added 10 for Streamwood (3-14) in nonconference action.
