Waukegan man gets 120 years for sex assault of minor

A 40-year-old Waukegan man convicted of having sexual relations with a minor was sentenced Tuesday by a Lake County judge to 120 years in prison, authorities said.

Jeffrey Morrow was found guilty Aug. 24 on 20 counts of predatory criminal sexual assault, Lake County Assistant State's Attorney Jason Grindel said.

An investigation showed Morrow, of the 2000 block of Walnut Street, engaged in sex acts with the victim on more than 20 occasions, Grindel said. Grindel said Morrow is required to serve at least 85 percent of the sentence before being eligible for parole.
