Grayslake Heritage Center art fundraiser Sept. 14

The Grayslake Arts Alliance is seeking artists to donate work for a silent auction to raise money for the Grayslake Heritage Center next month.

At "A Toast to Art," patrons will enjoy a wine tasting, live music and consider which piece of donated art they'd like to take home with them. Grayslake's village hall will be transformed for the event, which will run from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 14. The wine will be donated by 129 Center Cut and heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Those interested in donating art to be auctioned at the event are encouraged to contact Paul Price at price.paul.303@gmail.com or Roni Malic at rakmm@aol.com by Aug. 19.
