Tanner Dyer had 2 hits and drove in 2 runs to lead Warren's baseball team in an 8-2 victory over Lake Zurich on Monday.
The Blue Devils improved to 8-5 overall and 3-3 in the North Suburban Conference.
Victor Perez added a double for the Blue Devils.
Winning pitcher Jack McCullough had 5 strikeouts over six innings.
Lake Zurich, which got 3 hits out of Austin Matuszewski, had its 10-game winning streak snapped.
Mundelein 2, Waukegan 1: Winning pitcher Zach Zentz had 9 strikeouts as Mundelein stayed undefeated, improving to 15-0 overall and 7-0 in the North Suburban Conference.
Grayslake Central 7, Grayslake North 6: Grayslake Central improved to 11-2 on the season as they scored 5 runs over the last 2 innings to defeat Grayslake North 7-6.
Jacob Rubino singled home Benton Troehler with the bases loaded and the game tied at 6 with the winning run. Troehler had driven in a run earlier in the inning as did Justin Shepley who also had a seventh inning RBI-hit.
GC trailed 6-2 heading into the bottom of the sixth but Kevin O'Brien doubled in 2 runs with two outs to set up the Rams seventh-inning comeback.
The Rams had 9 hits in the game paced by Kyle Allen with 3 singles and 2 runs scored.
Justin Wold, the third Rams pitcher of the game tossed a scoreless sixth and seventh inning striking out 3 and allowing only one base hit.
For Grayslake North, Sebastian Sancen and Nick Lovitsch each had 2 hits.
Grant 10, Round Lake 0: Shawn Riley had a grand slam and drove in 6 runs for Grant, which improves to 9-6 on the season and 5-1 in Northern Lake County Conference action.
Winning pitcher Mike Lopez went four innings to get his first win of the season.
Niles North 1, Vernon Hills 0: The story of the game was a pitching duel between starters Ryan Larsen and George Sherman. For Vernon Hills, Larsen threw 7 scoreless innings allowing no runs on 2 hits, walking 3 while striking out 8. Meanwhile, Sherman threw 8 ⅔ innings allowing no runs on 6 hits, walking 1 and striking out 2.
Reliever Brian Duffley (1IP, 1R, 3H) took the loss in relief. Duffley threw a scoreless 7th inning. But, then in the 8th, he allowed a lead-off hit to Jovanni Sanchez. Sanchez moved to 2nd when Joe Rangel's throw from the outfield sailed over Tony Brown's head. Sanchez then moved to 3rd when the Cougars had a miscommunication on a bunt defense. With the infield pulled in, Cameron Benesch singled between SS and 3rd for his third hit of the game and a game winning RBI.
Brennan Reback (2-3, 2B) and Matt Gramins (2-3) had two hits a piece for Vernon Hills.
Wauconda 3, Carmel 2: John Herbst had 2 hits for Wauconda.
Austin Ehren had 2 hits for Carmel.
Barrington 3, Conant 2: Barrington remains unbeaten in Mid-Suburban West baseball after Jeff Korus' RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning made the difference in a 3-2 victory against visiting Conant on Monday.
Korus finished 3-for-4; Devin Seibert and David Mitchell also drove in 1 run each and Tyler Trojan had 2 hits for the Broncos (14-4, 4-0).
