High education costs hamstring U.S. students

I don't know where Mr. Hameetman got his information from. Assuming that a person works for 45 years, they would have to make over $25,000 a year more than a high school graduate for his number to be correct.

For FY 2022, the five top Indian recruiters placed more than 400,000 people in jobs in the U.S. That's 400,000 jobs in the IT field. Phrased another way, that's 400,000 jobs that could have gone to Americans. University cost in India? $16,000 to $30,000 for a four-year degree.

The U.S. is losing more and more jobs to people from outside the country due to the cost of higher education. Cost of a four-year degree in most European countries? Zero. Since they have no debt, they can ask for lower salaries.

I hope Mr. Hameetman plans on his grandchildren working for someone from outside the U.S. An educated citizenry helps the various economic indicators in the U.S.
