Sapong scores tying goal, Union draw 1-1 with Impact

MONTREAL (AP) - C.J. Sapong scored the tying goal in the 24th minute in the Philadelphia Union's 1-1 draw with the Montreal Impact on Saturday.

The Union (4-3-3) had their third straight tie to run their unbeaten streak to four. The Impact (4-3-4) have four straight ties and are winless in their last five.

Laurent Ciman's slip allowed Chris Pontius to cross from the left side to an unmarked Sebastien Le Toux to feed Sapong in front for the tap-in goal.

Didier Drogba scored for Montreal in the third minute. Marco Donadel's corner was headed by Sapong straight to Drogba at the edge of the penalty area. He took one touch and blasted a shot just under the bar for his fourth goal in seven games this season.
