How to audition for Shakespeare Shorts in Mundelein

The Mundelein Arts Commission will host auditions for its first full theatrical production, Shakespeare Shorts, from 7 to 9 p.m. May 14 and 15, at village hall, 300 Plaza Circle.

Auditioners should prepare a 3-minute monologue and bring a completed audition form available at www.mundelein.org/MAC. The production, comprised of scenes from Shakespeare's plays, will be presented outdoors Aug. 8 to 10.

Besides actors, volunteers are needed to build costumes, run props, and handle the backstage duties. Anyone interested should attend the auditions. Email dproberts1984@gmail.com for more information.
