Send a message, voters

OK, admit it. If you've paid attention to the impeachment hearings, it was painful to watch congressional Republicans showcase their amputated souls. If the enlightened electorate doesn't punish the Republicans at the ballot box the next time around, then it will be true that we, as a people, must be gullible and feeble minded.

Clearly, this is not your daddy's Republican Party. Unless the Republican Party finds a way to reboot and have basic decency and integrity as basic tenants of their existence, they are doomed to being irrelevant. Watching elected officials sell their souls for votes is never fun to watch.

What a shame.
