In a previous letter, a reader poses a rather slanted list of "what ifs". This is another list: What if the 2016 election had been decided by the popular vote? What if the millions donated by hardworking people to "build the wall" didn't end up in Trump's allies' pockets? What if the evacuation in Afghanistan had taken place BEFORE Trump announced the troop withdrawal? What if Trump had accepted the 2020 election results? What if he never held the Jan. 6 "rally"? What if he had returned the classifid documents when he was told to?
