Letter: Pick Kinzinger for vice president

President Biden, despite the negative feedback from the public concerning your candidacy in 2024, you are going ahead with your campaigning.

Stop, though, for a bit and consider a choice for vice president. I can recommend to you an outstanding candidate. Former U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger, a man with strong backbone.

When the horrors of Jan. 6 took place, Mr. Kinzinger was officially part of the Republican Party, yet he stepped out of his party affiliation to be part of the group that brought us a real look at all the damage that was done in Washington by so many "patriots." He was knowledgeable, articulate and a fine representative of a dedicated political individual.

This young man deserves a place on your ticket if you insist upon being the oldest presidential candidate in history. He can bring youth, courage, new ideas and loyalty to the presidential reign.

Please think about this, Mr. President.
