Portion of Amstutz to close

The Amstutz Expressway (Route 137) between Genesee Street and Greenwood Avenue in Waukegan, will be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2. weather permitting. The closure is needed to accommodate filming of "Start Without Me," according to the Illinois Department of Transporation. A detour will direct motorists to Belvidere Street (Route 120) and Sheridan Road (Route 137). Access to local residences and businesses will be maintained.

Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area.
