Palatine resident died after being trapped underneath car
A 36-year-old died after being stuck underneath a car Saturday morning, Palatine fire officials said.
The Palatine Fire Department responded to a call about person stuck and arrived at the scene on Cambridge Court about 10:50 a.m., according to Battalion Chief Jim Sugrue. Crews found that the victim had been removed from under the car by a bystander and police, Sugrue said.
Sugrue said the person was pronounced dead at the scene. No other information about the person was provided.
