CLC hosts Jobapalooza Expo

Young adult jobseekers are invited to attend the annual Jobapalooza Expo sponsored by the College of Lake County and the Job Center of Lake County on Thursday, March 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. The Expo will be in the CLC Physical Education Center (Building 7), 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake. This free event provides employment, training, and resource opportunities and is designed for young adults, ages 16 to 21, who are looking for full-time, part-time or seasonal positions. It also provides information about the training and resources needed to enhance young adults' career prospects. More than 80 organizations will be present, including employers and resource and training providers. Participants will receive information about the education and training required for various jobs, plus information on work permits, Social Security cards, personal finances and more. Jobseekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes or personal business cards to hand out to employers.
