Meetings set on Libertyville sales tax referendum

Libertyville officials will host town-hall meetings on a non-home rule sales tax question on the March 17 primary ballot.

Meetings will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30 and Wednesday, March 4, at the Libertyville Civic Center. 135 W. Church St.

Voters will be asked whether the village should be allowed to impose a 1% non-home rule sales tax.
