Electronics Recycling& Document Destruction Event in Elk Grove Village

Elk Grove Village, in partnership with the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC) is hosting an Electronics Recycling & Document Destruction Event. This free event is open to Elk Grove residents along with residents from other SWANCC member communities. ID's will be checked for proof of residency. Business items will not be accepted.

The Electronics Recycling & Document Destruction Event will be on June 2 from 9 a.m. to noon at Fire Station 8, 100 Oakton Street, Elk Grove Village, 60007.

Below are the guidelines for this event:

Electronics such as computers, cameras, power tools, printers, small home appliances, and televisions (all types) are accepted.

Residents are limited to six file-size boxes or paper shopping bags. Staples and paper clips are acceptable, but binders should be removed.

Please do not bring paper in plastic bags.

Materials from businesses, institutions or schools will not be accepted.
