Vigil for peace Wednesday in Lake Zurich

The Ela Peace Project will be holding a vigil for peace in Ukraine from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, outside the Ela Area Public Library, 275 Mohawk Trail, Lake Zurich.

All are invited in the call for peace for those enduring violence and displacement caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Participants will stand collectively with those in the community who are deeply affected by these events. The vigil will be held inside in case of inclement weather. All are invited to bring flameless candles or glow sticks. Please refrain from bringing any type of flame.
