Westbound Lake-Cook Road near Arlington Heights Road reopens after crash

Westbound Lake-Cook Road is back open west of Arlington Heights Road in Arlington Heights after a traffic crash.

There were minor injuries in the crash, the Lake County sheriff's office said. Earlier it has posted on social media a photograph showing an ambulance beside some kind of large vehicle, such as a tractor, in front of a small car.

Arlington Heights police are now investigating the crash, which had caused big delays as the afternoon rush hour began.
