New park open in Palatine

Palatine's newest park is now open to the public. Chickadee Park, at 18 E. Preserve Drive, features a children's playground. The Palatine Park District hosted a grand-opening last week. Palatine parks employees answered questions and provided materials for several free upcoming summer activities to those who attended the ceremony.
