Maintenance will close Falcon Park rec center for week

Falcon Park Recreation Center in Palatine will be closed for routine maintenance through Friday. Palatine Park District officials said the rec center is scheduled to reopen at 7 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26 after the cleaning and other maintenance work is completed. Highlights of the facility include a gymnasium for basketball and volleyball, along with an indoor turf area for soccer. Falcon Recreation Center is at 2195 N. Hicks Road in Palatine.
