St. Charles East's Mudlong 13th at state

St. Charles East junior Dean Mudlong climbed seven spots in the standings and finished in 13th place Saturday at the IHSA state boys bowling tournament in downstate O'Fallon.

Mudlong had a 6-game series of 1,381 on Saturday to bring his four-round total for the weekend to 2,739. With a high game of 276 on Saturday, he averaged 228.3 for the 12 games on the weekend.
