Keep politics out of education

I am appalled that local politicians are trying to take over our local schools. Partisan politics have no place in local school board elections.

We have had a long history of nonpartisan school board elections. Electing quality people to lead our schools has had great results. We have some of the best schools in the state, and we need to continue to honor the system that works.

I encourage you to vote and to support candidates that are not politically endorsed, particularly incumbents James Ekeberg, Peggy Babcock, and Gerald Chapman in Palatine Elementary School District 15. They have earned our support.
